Don't have the space for a sewing machine at home? Or you don't sew enough to justify the investment? Or maybe you simply would like to sew together with others?
There are several organizations and places in Copenhagen that allow you to use their machines when you want, and where you can become part of a community.

You’ll find the most unique crafts classes & workshops both online and in person at Little Pink Maker.
You can join the Community Sewing days for free, only giving a donation to the coffee/tea. They are usually every last Sunday of the month, but check out their facebook page for more details.
Otherwise, you can book this cozy space for social use, with a maximum of 4 people.

Copenhagen Fablab is an open access, shared and user-driven tool workshop situated at Valby Kulturhus and Værkstedshallerne.
They have several sewing machines and overlockers for free use.
You can use the Fablab for free without making reservations by following the 4 rules:
1. No commercial production
2. Leave the Fablab cleaner than it was
3. Share your projects
4. Help others and maintain the tools
To be a user of the Fablab it is required that you at least share pictures of your projects in the Facebook group or homepage.

Repair Cafe is a non-profit organisation with repair initiatives all around Denmark.
Run by volunteers, Repair Cafes provide both the space and practical help for local citizens in need of fixing a broken item or piece of clothing.
You can use their sewing machines for free, by yourself or with help from one of the volunteers.
The opening hours, times of workshops, and equipment vary depending on location, so keep a close eye out on their website and social media.
